I didn't write about that tough stuff that was going on. But I have a few prayer requests. Some dear friends of mine are dealing with a miscarriage right now after carrying the baby for 12 weeks, and one of my dads scouting buddies died at the age of 54 from cancer. My parents got to visit him the night before he died and he mouthed my dads name. I hurt for my parents, they have lost a lot of people around their age in the past 2 years. There is another man from our school back home that is 44 and in the hospital battling brain cancer.
Life doesn't always make sene huh? I am constantly reminded of the vers in 1 Peter 5:7 in times like these "Cast all your anxieties on him, because He cares for you."
and Matt. 11:28 "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Melly,
I'm so sorry to hear the bad news. I will definitely keep your parents in my prayers. As for the couple, is it anyone that I know, so I can pray for them by name?.....
P.S. On a happier note, your house is really cute! Very Cali-esque. And I totally agree that you would look happin' in a cape - you should buy one.
oh lissa...I'm sorry that you're hurting...and I'm sorry that the parents are hurting too...never good stuff. Anyway, you know you and your fam are always in my prayers.
I love ya sister.
sad on one note...happy on the other. Mr. C is no longer suffering. We had alot of scouts and parents go to the funeral home tonight and quite a few will be attending the funeral. Keep the family in your prayers...Philip graduates from North this year and he and his dad were really close.
