wow its been a while

So I have been worse than horrible about updating this baby. Fact of the matter is that I just didn't feel like it. A lot of things have happened in the past 3 months. Good ole 2008 has has something of an insane start to it, I just don't know where to begin. I spent some time in St. Louis, and I was out of town 3 out of 4 weekends in January. Along with that, I ended the relationship I was in, church started a huge campaign, Vacation bible school goodness has begun and I am trying to understand God's plan for my life.

February started off with the kick off to 40 days of community. V-day came along and you would be proud to know I wore pink. (all for you mom). Members of the congregation knew that January was quite rough and gave me a 1 hour massage. I redeemed that on V day. It was... beautiful :)

It's March 1st already. Is that crazy or what. I can't believe it really. tomorrow is church, I am also taking my junior highers to the baptist church in the afternoon to go to the World Vision "Step into Africa" exhibit. It's suppose to be really emotional and life changing so I am looking forward to taking the group there, help them see beyond themselves and their hormones.... well there may not be anything that gets them beyond their hormones but we will try.

Confirmation ends for me this wednesday. Whew! it's a huge class that I have. 17 kids and their parents, its been interesting, I think I want to make some drastic changes for next year. Their parents are really suppose to be teaching them but it is so clear that that's not happening.

So it's going to stay really busy coming up here. Monday I am going to San Fran for my friend Cheri's bday! I also have to make a video this next week to show in church. March 12th, the Hovatter's from church are taking Grace and I to the Carrie Underwood concert! :) YEAH! The end of the month my Lodi family is taking me to Disneyland. I feel like a spoiled brat, instead I will say that God has blessed me greatly and even though I don't think I deserve it, I appreciate every bit of it. In April my dear friend Erinn and her boyfriend are coming to town from Oregon. Erinn and I were college roommates our freshman year. We are also going to san Fran. The week after that I will be going to San Fran as well because the CARDINALS will be out here playing a 4 game series! yes! :) oh how I love baseball season! April 22-25th I will be in Chicago for a children's conference at Willow Creek. I get to take two lay members with me for it, which I hope and pray will help get some more amazing things happening in Children's ministry!!!
